Boards, Commissions & Committees
The City's various boards, commissions, and committees assist in the governance of the community and Dallas residents are encouraged to participate. Serving on a board, commission or committee is a rewarding way for you to engage with the community. Most are advisory to City Council while others provide expertise or review policies. The Mayor recommends and the City Council appoints all board, commission and committee members.
