The Dallas Public Library is a member of the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library
If you do not have a library card, you can register for one online and have access to our ebooks and audiobooks. Cards will be active for 90 days(instead of the customary 30 days). When your home library opens, bring in your picture ID and proof of current address to verify your information and you'll be able to check out other library materials. The Dallas Public Library will be offering curbside pickup for holds 5 days a week! At this time you can only place holds on books, DVD’s, and audiobooks that are here at the Dallas Public Library. Because we are operating with limited staff, we are unable to place holds for you by phone. We are asking for you to place holds through https://catalog.ccrls.org/. You can place holds at the Dallas Library by following the tutorial provided in the image. Before coming to the library, please check the status of your holds and make sure your hold says “Available”.
Holds may be picked Monday through Friday between 10 am and 2 pm at the parking lot door of the library. The process is easy but for pickup you must have a library card for everyone that has holds available in order to check out. A staff member will be at the door with gloves and a mask. They will have a tray for you to place your library card on. We ask that you place the card with the barcode up. This helps us scan your card without touching it. We will return your card on the tray. You will need to open your trunk for us, either from inside or by getting out, opening the trunk, and getting back into your vehicle. We will bring out your holds and place them in your trunk, closing the trunk for you. You can check the status of your holds that you placed.
