The Parks and Recreation department serves the community as a recreational resource for local events and classes offered by the City as well as those offered by local non-profit, civic and government organizations. The staff is also responsible for the Sounds of Summer program.

Makes recommendations to the Council on issues pertaining to Parks and Recreation within the City. The Board is dedicated to ensuring the City's Parks and Recreation programs are of the highest quality and standards.
