Responsibilities & Services
The Community Development Department encompasses a variety of areas, including land use planning, building permits, economic development, code enforcement and the City's urban renewal program. We are also responsible for facility maintenance, the Dallas Public Library, and the Dallas Aquatic Center. We view our website as an extension of our staff and our goal is that it is as helpful and useful to you as possible.
