  • Library Worker I (Aide)
    • Part-time, regular position

  • Utility Worker I
    • Full-time, regular position 
    • Salary: $15.57 - $20.47 per hour with excellent fringe benefits
    • Performs a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of City water, wastewater, street, and storm drainage, building and grounds facilities, and other utility systems.

  • Code Services Specialist
    • Part-time, regular civilian, 20 hour per week position
    • $14.38-$18.94 per hour with no fringe benefits
    • Performs a variety of routine and complex work in the enforcement of the Dallas City Code related to nuisances, vehicle storage and inoperable vehicles, signs, and garage sales, and other code issues, all of which require extensive contact with the public.

  • Reserve Police Officer
    • Required monthly volunteer hours
    • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  In addition, college or university level studies, vocational training in police sciences, law enforcement, criminal justice administration, public administration or a related field are desirable: or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Cover letter, City of Dallas application, and Supplemental Police Questionnaire must be returned no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015

  • Lifeguard (part-time)
    • $9.25 - $11.25 per hour
    • Accepting applications to create eligibility list of potential future hires
    • Preference will be given those applicants qualified to teach swim lessons
    • Applicants must have lifeguard training and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificates
    • Successful applicants must successfully pass a water skills test

  • Water Aerobics Instructor (part-time) 
    • $11 per hour
    • Accepting applications to create eligibility list of potential future hires
