RESERVATIONS
OVERVIEW
For your enjoyment, all the Dallas city parks are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis, except in the Dallas City Park where there is also a seasonal reservation system available from May 1 - September 30 for the Brandvold Kitchen area, the old side Gazebo, and the Seibert Frederickson Memorial Shelter.

All areas have power and water available.  Reservation Request Forms are available below or can be obtained at Dallas City Hall, Public Works Department, 187 SE Court Street. The reservation fee is $50 for groups of 100 or less people and $100 for groups of more than 100 people (non-refundable).

First priority for reservations will be given from October 1 - December 31 (prior to the start of the year) to fraternal, civic, patriotic, religious, service, charitable, and educational organizations including class reunions with a chapter, lodge, post, congregation, or other unit existing within the City.  Private groups/family event reservations will be accepted beginning on January 1.

BRANDVOLD KITCHEN AREA

Brandvold Kitchen area (new side) accessed via Brandvold Drive/SW Levens Street or SW Park Street via SW River Drive or SW Westwood Drive.   This rustic shelter is equipped with a sink, electrical outlets, and uncovered picnic tables.  It is located near the Japanese Garden and is the area used for the Rotary Breakfast in the Park during Summerfest.  It has 12 picnic tables (no shelter over tables) and seats up to 150 people.

OLD SIDE GAZEBO

The Gazebo located on the Old Side of the Park is accessed via SW Academy Street.  It is the oldest shelter in the park and is memorable to many park users.  It is very rustic and contains a fire place and electrical outlets.  It has six covered picnic tables and accommodates 50 to 100 people.

SEIBERT FREDERICKSON MEMORIAL SHELTER

The Seibert Frederickson Memorial Shelter is our newest shelter located next the recently placed playground equipment (2008).  It is accessed via SW Academy Street and has electrical outlets and a large covered seating area with 12 picnic tables and accommodates up to 150 people.

AMPLIFIED SOUND
Sometimes the use of amplified sound can add to the enjoyment of your event and it is allowed during your reservation with prior approval by the City Manager.  An Amplified Sound Permit/Application is required and Dallas City Code 5.020(1) must be observed.

INFLATABLE EQUIPMENT(such as bouncy castles and jumpers)
A Special Equipment in Park Permit/Application is required to use inflatables such as bouncy castles or jumpers in the park during your reservation. In addition, a Park Rental Insurance Certification Form must be submitted along with proof of comprehensive general liability insurance. This must be turned in at least two weeks prior to your event with a refundable deposit of $250.
