The Dallas Municipal Court prosecutes traffic and ordinance violations occurring within the city limits.

The Dallas Municipal Court has jurisdiction over all city and state offenses committed within the city limits of Dallas, excluding misdemeanor and felony matters. The court does NOT handle: juvenile cases, civil or small claims cases, divorce or bankruptcy cases.

Municipal Court is presided over by Honorable Judge Ira S. Feitelson. The City Prosecutor is Mr. Anthony James. He may be contacted by phone at 503.623.6695.

A Spanish interpreter is available upon request. Interpreter services and special needs can usually be accommodated if the Court is notified two weeks in advance.

Court is held every Thursday at 9:00 am, the first and third Tuesday of each month at 1:30 pm, and the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Dallas City Hall. The Court Room is wheelchair accessible.
