Responsibilities & Services
The City of Dallas Fire Department, in conjunction with the Southwest Polk Rural Fire Protection District, provides fire and rescue services to the communities of Polk County, Oregon.

Our Mission

The MIssion of the Dallas Fire Department is to provide emergency services designed to protect the lives and property of the community from the adverse effects of fire, sudden medical emergencies or exposure to dangerous conditions created by either man or nature.

Service Delivery Expectations
• However and whenever the public comes in contact with a member of our department, the public will be treated in a way that enhances the image of the Dallas Fire Department.

• Our aim is to promote public awareness of what we do in order to generate a positive community feeling as a result of that awareness, and to foster support for our department and the services it provides.

• The appearance of our facility and how people are treated when they come to us is a direct reflection on the image of the Dallas Fire Department.

• The appearance of the apparatus, equipment and personnel are important factors in displaying professional service and attitude.

• Seek to solve problems and resolve complaints in a cordial, expeditious and nonconfrontational manner.
