    The event will take place at the fire station located at 915 S.E. Shelton Street in Dallas. The Open House is to help promote Fire Prevention Week which runs from October 5-11, 2014. • Fire truck rides • tours of the fire station • emergency medical services equipment • smoke detectors installation tips • other fire and safety demonstrations will be offered during this event. Information and applications will also be available for those interested in becoming a member of the volunteer fire department.
