1. Where do I file for Small Claims Court?

With the Circuit Court at the Polk County Courthouse. The phone number is 503.623.3154.

2. How do I know if I need to go to City Hall or the Courthouse?

Generally, if the offense is a traffic or city ordinance violation and occurred within the City limits of Dallas, you need to go to the Municipal Court at City Hall. If the offense is a meidemeanor or felony that occured within the city limits or for any offense that occurred outside the City, go to the Circuit Court at the Polk County Courthouse.
