City Advisory Committees
The City has a number of volunteer committees that act as advisory to the City Council. The City Recorder keeps a current list of advisory committees, their vacancies, names of committee members and the regular meeting dates of the committees. If you would like to find out more about these advisory committees or are interested in volunteering, please complete the Citizen Committee Interest Form.
The City realizes the backbone of any successful organization it its committees and the volunteers who participate as committee members. By getting involved, you can make a statement about your commitment to this community.
The City is currently looking for someone interested in serving on the Budget Committee. Please fill out a Citizen Committee Interest Form (see the link above).
Members of the Budget Committee are appointed to three-year terms and typically meet 4 or 5 times each spring. The Budget Committee is responsible to review the proposed Budget and make recommendations to the Council. Applicants must reside within the city limits of Dallas.
If you have any questions, please call City Hall at 503.831.3502.
